There is one week left to buy raffle tickets for the Ross University School of Medicine’s Art & Craft Fair. Next Saturday, November 19th, over 70 raffle prizes will be awarded to the lucky ticket holders. 100% of raffle ticket sales will be divided between three charities-The Calls Center, The Grange (Northern Home for the Aged) and the Lamb’s Feast. Tickets are being sold from 12-1 on campus M-F at the shacks and on the Subway deck. Tickets will also be sold at the fair on Friday night and Saturday during the day. Tickets are 2 EC each or 3 tickets for 5 EC. Remember this event is open to the public so local readers please come out and join us. Winners of prizes do not need to be present to claim their prizes if they win.
Raffle ticket prizes are being generously donated by many local businesses. Fort Young and Papillotte are donating hotel stays. Many of the local restaurants are offering gift certificates-De Champs, Rituals, Big Papas, The Usual Spot, Tomatoes, Cocoricos, Anchorage Hotel, Golden Dragon, Andrew’s, Guivayes, Purple Turtle, Red Rock Haven, Sunset Bay, and West Central. Non-food raffle prizes include jewelry, cakes, personal training/yoga sessions, massages, clothes, photography, paintings, SGA movie certificates, groceries, and a scuba dive. Lots and lots of great stuff!
The craft fair begins at 4pm on Friday, November 18th at the RUSM Campus Activity Center (CAC). The CAC is on Lizard Trail, the road that is directly behind IGA Whitchurch, Picard. Saturday fair hours will be from 10 am to 4 pm. Food vendors will be on site for breakfast and lunch.
Hope to see some of y’all there 🙂
